The Avon Soccer Club (ASC) fields recreational teams to participate in games organized by the North Central District which is under the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA).

Volunteer Recreational Coaches
The Avon Soccer Club needs YOU to volunteer to coach.
Soccer Stars and Intramural (U6)
- Time commitment: just one session each Saturday of the season
- Responsibilities:
- Keep your team organized so the players can enjoy the instruction from the professional coaching staff
- Handle team administration (i.e., contacting players and distributing the uniforms provided by the Avon Soccer Club)
Intramural Coaches and Assistant Coaches
- Time commitment: one practice (1-1.5 hours) per week pending daylight and one game each weekend
- Responsibilities:
- Prepare practice drills, run practices, and coach games
- Handle team administration (i.e., contacting players and distributing the uniforms provided by the Avon Soccer Club
Without volunteer coaches like you, there is no program.
- In return for coaching, you will create lasting bonds with your child and the rest of your team.
- You do NOT need to be an experienced soccer player or coach to volunteer. Avon Soccer Club offers coaching support for both new and experienced coaches.
