Sportsmanship Award

The game of soccer is to be played in a competitive but respectful manner.  Sportsmanship is an important ingredient of our tournament and respect for fellow players, coaches, spectators, and referees is a value we hold in high regard.

Winning a Sportsmanship Award is as important as winning the game.  In support of this philosophy, we will be awarding sportsmanship awards as follows:

At check-in, each team will be given 5 Sportsmanship Medals.  One of these should be awarded to an opposing team player after each game played.  This medal is given to identify the player as one who has demonstrated sportsmanship, hard work, fair play, and team positivity.  This player has gone above and beyond to make the game fun, enjoyable, respectful, and competitive.
